Jillian of Jillian Nichole Illustration, the creator of Paper Whim, is an artist, illustrator, and surface pattern designer based in Rhode Island of the USA.

Jillian started Paper Whim as a passion project. She wanted to see journals, notebooks and other stationery and gift options that are maximalist, whimsical, and maybe even a little bit funky.

Paper Whim is her weapon of choice in this battle against boring stationery.

Lovely floral stationery is everywhere. Simple solid-color stationery is everywhere. Plain black stationery is everywhere. Jillian wanted high quality, unique stationery with fun and funky artwork on it and she just couldn't seem to find it...

So she set out to make her own.
